Following the successful hosting of the 5th biennial ASMA Conference, the ASMA Vice President for Africa and the ASMA Vice President of West Africa, Prof. Oluwaseuo Omotayo and Ambassador Sylvester Ikuejamoye JP, respectively, have written to the National Sport Council to congratulate them and by extension, the government of the Gambia for hosting what they called a very successful ASMA conference.
In his message addressed to the Executive Director of the NSC, Prof. Omotayo stated “I thank you profusely for your support for the success recorded at the just concluded 5th ASMA conference in Banjul The Gambia”.
In a similar message sent to Mr. Marchel Mendy, Executive Director of the NSC, Ambassador Sylvester Ikuejamoye JP, expressed his gratitude to the government of the Gambia and her people.
“On behalf of the entire ASMA Members in West Africa and by extension, African Continent, I write to express my very deep profound gratitude and appreciation to the government and people of The Gambia for the success of the just concluded 5th ASMA international Conference held in The Gambia, the Smiling Coast.
Special appreciation to the President, H.E. Adama Barrow, the Vice President, Minister of Youth & Sport, the Chairman of the National Sport Council, Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director and indeed, the entire members of the National Organizing Committee”, the message concluded.
