Two boxers and coach of the Gambia Boxing Association are currently taking part in the Zone II boxing championship, courtesy of the Gambia National Sport Council.
The athletes, Foday Badjie, 75 kg category and Aaron John Ernest, 85kg+ will be coached by Mahmud Lamin Nyassi at the said championship.
The NSC can confirm that Gambian champion, Foday Badjie has just knocked out Ansu Coker of Sierra Leone, booking his place in the finals of his category, while Aaron John Ernest is getting ready for his first fight of the championship later tonight against Cifo Nelo Borges of Cape Verde.
