Gambia’s male 4x100m relay team competing in the Commonwealth Games underway in Birmingham, has just qualified to the final to be held tomorrow at 12:40 (11:40 in The Gambia).
The Gambian quartet of Ebrahima Camara; Adama Jammeh; Alieu Joof and Sengan Jobe who have all been training in France, finished third in heat 2 in the men’s category with a time of 39.77sec being the team’s best performance of the season.
Meanwhile Gina Bass, finished 3rd in semi final 1 with a time of 23.10sec, enough to qualify her to the final of the 200m to be held today at 21:44 (20:44 in The Gambia).
