In a bid to meet international standards, contractors under the supervision of Mr. Ebrima Kolley, the Project Consultant from the Ministry of Transport, Works, and Infrastructure (MOTWI), alongside the Independence Stadium’s technical manager, are conducting final installations of newly imported equipment and furniture at the Independence Stadium.
Today, Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports, Bakary Y. Badjie, was present on-site to oversee the ongoing work. The installations are focused on completing the remaining areas, including the media tribune and players’ lockers, as part of the stadium’s renovation project.
The effort forms part of a larger initiative to upgrade the Independence Stadium, ensuring it meets the required standards for hosting international events.
