The Ministry of Youth and Sports, together with the National Sports Council, extends heartfelt congratulations to The Gambia National Football Team – The Scorpions – for their outstanding 3-1 victory over Kenya in the CAF World Cup Qualifiers at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi.
Goals from Saidy Sinyan (12’), Yankuba Minteh (26’), and Musa Barrow (38’) sealed a well-deserved win that showcased the talent, determination, and resilience of our team.
This triumph is yet another proud moment for Gambian football and an inspiration to our youth. We commend the players, technical staff, and supporters for flying the Gambian flag high on the international stage.
