Gambia Set to Compete in ICC Men’s T20 Sub-Regional World Cup Qualifiers in Kenya

The Gambia is gearing up to take on some of the region’s best cricket teams in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier B, which will be held in Kenya from October 17th to 25th, 2024. This highly anticipated tournament will see the Gambia compete against Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Seychelles, Kenya, and Mozambique in a bid to qualify for the T20 World Cup.

The Gambia will open their campaign on Saturday, October 19th, facing Rwanda at 9:30 AM at Nairobi Gymkhana, in what promises to be an exciting encounter. The following day, The Gambian lads will take on Seychelles at 9:30 AM on Sunday, October 20th, followed by their clash with Kenya on Tuesday, October 22nd.

The tournament format includes five matchdays, and the Gambia will also face Zimbabwe and Mozambique in their subsequent matches. These matches present a crucial opportunity for the Gambian team to showcase their talent on an international stage and potentially secure their place in the global cricket arena.
