As part of preparations for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games, Islamic Games, five Gambian athletes are currently training in high performance training center in France.
On Sunday 15th May, 2022, all the five athletes namely Ebrima Camara, Sengan Jobe, Adama Jammeh, Alieu Joof and Gina Bass competed in the meeting international de montgeron.
Gina Bass won her 100m race with a time of 11.32sec, while Adama jammeh finished second with a time of 10:57sec.
Ebrahima Camara and Sengan Jobe finished fourth and fifth with a time of 10.60sec and 10.63 respectively.
Unfortunately, Alieu Joof got disqualified/false start.
