NSC Gives Green Light for Bricpol Association to Begin Operations in The Gambia

The Acting Executive Director of the National Sports Council (NSC), Mr. Mahmoud L. Jawla, earlier today held a meeting with the executive members of the Bricpol Association at the NSC Headquarters in Bakau, where he confirmed the Council’s endorsement and approval for the association to commence operations in The Gambia, following its successful fulfillment of all criteria set by the NSC.

This approval marks the official recognition of the Bricpol Association under the National Sports Policy framework, paving the way for the body to begin its activities and contribute to the country’s broader sports development objectives.

Mr. Jawla praised the association’s leadership for their commitment in meeting the required standards and for establishing a well-structured organization aligned with national regulations. He urged them to maintain transparency, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility in their operations to ensure meaningful progress within the sporting arena.

The leadership of the Bricpol Association expressed deep appreciation to the NSC for its guidance, support, and thorough review process. They reaffirmed their commitment to upholding all rules, regulations, and principles governing sports administration in The Gambia.

The delegation was led by PRO Musa Bah and included Technical Director Ebrima Jallow, Treasurer Saikou Jammeh, Assistant Treasurer Sally Camara, among other executive members.

With this endorsement, the Bricpol Association is now positioned to launch its programmes, engage communities, and contribute significantly to national sports development.
