The Ministry of Youth and Sport (MoYS) and its partners including the National Sport Council (NSC), are currently engaged in public consultation in the regions.
The purpose of the engagement is to consult with organisations, individuals and all relevant stakeholders in order to give them the opportunity to be part of the process leading to the development of a new sport policy.
The consultation which began in North Bank Region (NBR) will see the tour party visit all the seven regions of the country and will conclude in Banjul.
The National Sports Council (NSC), therefore, urges all stakeholders to make the best of this opportunity as the soon-to-be Sport Policy will guide sport and sport development for the next ten years in the Gambia.
