The Executive Director of National Sports Council, Mr. Marchel Mendy, on Thursday 17th October, 2023, presented sport materials ( Table Tennis, Rugby Materials (Protective Materials) Mix Martial Art & High Jump Materials ) donated by Building Project Gambia to National Sports Associations.
Mr. Jawla, the Deputy Executive Director of NSC thanked the philanthropists (Building Project Gambia), for their magnanimous gesture. According the Mr. Jawla, the donated materials will help the National Sports Council in fulfilling one of her mandates.
He went on to urge the beneficiaries to make the best use of the materials by allowing athletes to access them in their preparation for national duty.
Speaking earlier, Mr. Secka, the Chairperson of Building Project Gambia, commended the NSC for her unwavering commitment to the development of sport in The Gambia. He concluded by encouraging the National Sport Associations to take good care of the donated materials.
