The Executive Director of the National Sport Council, Mr. Marchel Mendy is currently in Birmingham as part of the government’s delegation to the Commonwealth Games.

Mr. Mendy will join Hon. Minister of Youth and Sport, Hon. Bakary Y. Badjie at the 10th Commonwealth Sport Ministers and senior officials’ meeting (10csmm) on 27th July 2022. The theme of the meeting convened by the Commonwealth Secretariat is ‘Creating an Inclusive and Resilient Sport Sector; enhancing the contribution of sport to the SDGs’.
