The Gambia National male indoor volleyball team just arrived in Egypt for the African Senior Indoor Volleyball Championship. The Gambian team’s participation in the competition which will kick off today, 3rd September to 14th September, 2023, is funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sport, through the National Sport Council.
The Gambia is taking part in this tournament for the first time. This year’s event brings together fifteen countries from within the African continent.
In a similar development, The Gambia National Paralympic team is in Ghana where it will take part in the African Paralympics Games. The team’s participation is also funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sport through the National Sport Council.
